You will be tasked with building a world-class customer acquisition function, overseeing sustainable customer acquisition development and growth on global scale to meet Skilling’s commercial objectives.

Responsabilities

  • Head up all customer acquisition activities, initiatives, processes and developments globally
  • Manage all acquisition channels and budgets, digital and nondigital, to central commercial plan and KPIs

  • Be a thought leader in performance marketing utilising web analytics, attribution, other martech technologies to achieve acquisition marketing excellence. Work closely with tech, BI and other relevant functions to ensure we achieve the best setup within acquisition.
  • Create an internal centre of excellence for acquisition marketing, in terms of products, people and processes used within the team.

  • Your Skills

    • 4+ years’ experience in FX and CFD customer acquisition marketing with a demonstrable track record of meeting and/or exceeding global customer acquisition KPIs and targets. Strong knowledge of forex and CFD trading. Experience at the multi-platform broker is a plus.
    • Strong digital marketing / performance media experience across PPC, paid social, app marketing, online media, programmatic, and other similar channels.
    • Exceptional experience in building successful partnership programmes (affiliates and IBs) on global scale. Business development experience across IBs and Money Managers is a very strong plus.
    • Experience creating effective, on-point acquisition marketing campaigns and utilising them to drive growth globally.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, with ability to spot new customer acquisition opportunities.
    • Never satisfied with status quo with natural hunger to push the boundaries across existing processes, frameworks, setups to continuously advance customer acquisition agenda.

You will be tasked with growing and developing our global affiliate function, recruiting and managing new and existing affiliate partners to meet Skilling’s commercial objectives. The role sits within Partnerships function and works to its KPIs. Although the main focus of the role is managing affiliates, IBs (Introducing Brokers) also fall within the role's remit.

The right candidates for this role may work from one of our Skilling office locations, in Spain, Cyprus, UK or Malta; or even work remotely within our EU time zone.

Responsabilities

  • Grow existing relationships with affiliates and IBs.
  • Drive the acquisition of new affiliates and IBs globally.
  • Cultivate top performing affiliates and IBs.
  • Develop underperforming affiliates IBs.
  • Work with Partnerships Manager to develop and deliver the overall affiliate and IB strategy ensuring the programme continues to evolve and remain competitive.

We are seeking an individual to fit the role of a Back Office Administrator to join our team. The role entails working closely with our other Back Office members and also with our Customer Support team, which role reports directly to the Head of Back Office.

The responsibilities are wide ranging and varied. It is necessary to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all areas of the business. At the forefront of the company operations, the Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and developing high standards of service. All aspects of the role will be customer centric and to offer the best customer service in the industry. It is a must to be focused on what will give the customer the best possible experience from the site and world class customer service in a competitive world.

What you will do

  • Based in our Cyprus office, the role would entail reporting directly to the Head of Back Office and COO
  • Understand and follow the company’s internal policies and procedures in the execution of your day to day role responsibilities
  • Ensure all tasks are done in line with the applicable laws and regulations, and in line with the company set processes and procedures.
  • AML, KYC and customer documentation checks, both manual and against the tools provided by the company.
  • Monitor movements in customer bank accounts/PSP’s, download statements and reports and follow up with confirmation regarding various issues from payment gateways, payment service providers, banking or technical teams.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of the client's funds in accordance with the Company's established procedures.
  • Communication with service providers and partners of the company when required, in the most professional manner, in relation to matters pertaining or linked to the operations of the back office department.
  • Record keeping and documentation filing in the back office system and reporting.
  • General Back office reporting for internal, external and regulatory reporting reasons.
  • To provide a high level of quality customer service, both internally and externally.
  • To escalate and liaise with other departments for issues such as payment and security related issues.
  • Ensure that all tasks and client generated tickets are followed up and dealt with promptly in accordance with the company’s service standards.
  • To support other departments on an ad hoc basis with translations (if speaking another language than English) and localisation duties for various marketing materials.

The role of the Junior Accountant is to work hand in hand with the members of the Finance team, in catering for the accounting requirements of the companies within the group, licensed or otherwise.

Skilling operates internationally, with companies within and outside the EU. Skilling to date holds two Financial Service Licenses, and is looking to grow further in the near future.

This position is based in Malta.

What you will do

  • Manage and assist in the day to day operations and administration of the finance department
  • In charge of the book keeping and necessary postings up to trial balance stage Processing of payments across the Group
  • Assisting in the preparation of various reconciliations
  • Liaise and communicate with members of other teams within Skilling as required to collect and reconcile the monthly spend
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets and other financial reports as the need might arise
  • Communicate with banks, as and when required
  • Participate in internal projects as assigned by senior management
  • Assist in all internal and external audits
  • Other duties as may be assigned in relation to the role
  • Who you are

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting, ACCA qualification or equivalent
    • Knowledge of local vat and tax laws would also be considered an asset

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
