Skilling announces Aston Villa partnership
Forex and CFD online trading platform Skilling has announced its Aston Villa partnership, becoming an official club partner for the 2020/21 season.
Skilling will benefit from prominent exposure on the Villa Park LEDs and big screen on matchdays, and across the Premier League club’s digital and social channels.
The Skilling trading platform is designed to be user-friendly for beginners, and intuitive for experienced traders, with the aim of bringing transparency, accessibility, and simplicity to the traditionally opaque trading process. Skilling users can trade in more than 800 forex and CFD financial instruments, including currency pairs, indices and popular commodities.
Sponsoring Villa marks an important milestone for the Scandinavian-owned fintech brand. Despite only launching publicly in 2019, the year that Aston Villa returned to the Premier League, Skilling is already firmly established in the trading sector. Following Villa’s successful first season back at England’s top table, both partners share aspirations to now reach the summit of their respective worlds.
Speaking about the partnership, Pavel Spirin, Skilling Group’s CCO, said:
"Aston Villa’s history as European and English Champions marks the club out as one of the most prestigious in British football, so agreeing this partnership is a moment of real significance for Skilling. Both ourselves and Villa are on an exciting upwards trajectory, and with a shared ambition to bring accessibility to users and fans alike, this partnership couldn’t be more timely, and we share a great deal of excitement as to what the upcoming season has in store for us both." Nicola Ibbetson, Chief Commercial Officer, Aston Villa said:
"We are delighted to announce Skilling as a global partner of the club. Skilling are young and exciting brand that match our own ambitions. We look forward to welcoming them to the Villa family for our upcoming campaign."
