With their index status providing stability to the stock, it is an excellent long-term investment for those looking to benefit from the continued success of the travel industry.

The Tui share price has seen some substantial fluctuations over the past few years. In 2018, the stock reached its highest level in history of 870.85 GBP per share following an announcement that the company had seen strong growth in profits. This was followed by a sharp drop to 345.64 GBP per share when the news of the 737 MAX grounding. In early 2021, the stock began to recover and was trading at around 200 GBP per share as of December 2022.

Looking forward, investors have reason to be optimistic about Tui AG's potential in the long term. The company is investing heavily in renewable energy initiatives and has recently expanded its presence into new markets such as Greece and Spain. This should help the stock to increase over the next few years. With a strong financial position and ambitious growth plans, there is potential for Tui AG to reach new highs in 2023 and beyond.

Tui is one of the leading airline companies in Europe and has been consistently growing its market presence since its establishment. It has several key competitors, such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Air France-KLM and IAG. All businesses in the same industry offer transport services through flights.

When analyzing Tui's financials, it is important to compare them against its competitors. It is also important to assess the strengths and weaknesses of Tui compared to its competitors. A key strength for Tui is its strong network of integrated travel activities including hotels, cruises and ground tour operations. This gives it an edge over other airlines that don't offer these services.
